A quality life of Vital Energy & Balance

We Will Always Remember!
We will always remember
our brothers and sisters...
the lost loved ones, friends and acquaintances...
the thousands of victims whose lives and talents were lost
in the horrific act of terror perpetrated
upon our land September 11th.
We salute the heros who came to rescue, but gave instead their lives
in the line of duty as they searched for the missing in the collapsing
and burning aftermath.
Our hearts grieve for you, we pray for you and for the loved ones you seek.
May you be comforted finding solace in the knowledge that you are not alone.
We ask God to bring peace and comfort to your hearts and minds.
May God Bless our people and grant us the wisdom to move forward with resolve, not hatred.
May we act in courage and not react from fear.
Most importantly let us send a clear message to all peoples of the world
that we are prepared to do whatever it takes to prevent a similar atrocity from happening again.
We must act appropriately to ensure the safety and peace of mind of all of our fellow humans on this planet.
May God be with you, may His Light shine upon you and grant you peace.

They are too beautiful not to share.
May you also be encouraged and inspired these messages of love and hope.

Daddy's Day
written by Cheryl Costello-Forshey, (c)2000
This poem is not to be copied or reproduced in any form without the written consent
of the author.
"Daddy's Day" has been published in the books, Chicken Soup for the Parent's Soul and Stories for
a Teen's Heart Book 2.
Her hair was up in a pony tail,
Her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy's Day at school,
and she couldn't wait to go.
But her mommy tried to tell her,
that she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand,
if she went to school alone.
But she was not afraid;
she knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates
of why he wasn't there today.
But still her mother worried,
for her to face this day alone.
And that was why once again,
she tried to keep her daughter home.
But the little girl went to school,
eager to tell them all.
About a dad she never see
a dad who never calls.
There were daddies along the wall in back,
for everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently,
anxious in their seats.
One by one the teacher called,
a student from the class.
To introduce their daddy,
as seconds slowly passed.
At last the teacher called her name,
every child turned to stare.
Each of them was searching,
for a man who wasn't there.
"Where's her daddy at?"
she heard a boy call out.
"She probably doesn't have one,"
another student dared to shout.
And from somewhere near the back,
she heard a daddy say,
"Looks like another deadbeat dad,
too busy to waste his day."
The words did not offend her,
as she smiled up at her Mom.
And looked back at her teacher,
who told her to go on.
And with hands behind her back,
slowly she began to speak.
And out from the mouth of a child,
came words incredibly unique.
"My Daddy couldn't be here,
because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could be,
since this is such a special day.
And though you cannot meet him,
I wanted you to know.
All about my daddy,
and how much he loves me so.
He loved to tell me stories
he taught me to ride my bike.
He surprised me with pink roses,
and taught me to fly a kite.
We used to share fudge sundaes,
and ice cream in a cone.
And though you cannot see him,
I'm not standing here alone.
"Cause my daddy's always with me,
even though we are apart
I know because he told me,
he'll forever be in my heart"
With that, her little hand reached up,
and lay across her chest.
Feeling her own heartbeat,
beneath her favorite dress.
And from somewhere in the crowd of dads,
her mother stood in tears.
Proudly watching her daughter,
who was wise beyond her years.
For she stood up for the love
of a man not in her life.
Doing what was best for her,
doing what was right.
And when she dropped her hand back down,
staring straight into the crowd.
She finished with a voice so soft,
but its message clear and loud.
"I love my daddy very much,
he's my shining star.
And if he could, he'd be here,
but heaven's just too far
But sometimes when I close my eyes,
it's like he never went away."
And then she closed her eyes,
and saw him there that day.
And to her mother's amazement,
she witnessed with surprise.
A room full of daddies and children,
all starting to close their eyes.
Who knows what they saw before them,
who knows what they felt inside.
Perhaps for merely a second,
they saw him at her side.
"I know you're with me Daddy,"
to the silence she called out.
And what happened next made believers,
of those once filled with doubt.
Not one in that room could explain it,
for each of their eyes had been closed.
But there on the desk beside her,
was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose.
And a child was blessed, if only for a moment,
by the love of her shining bright star.
And given the gift of believing,
that heaven is never too far.

"MEET ME IN THE STAIRWELL"
You say you will never forget where you were when you
heard the news on September 11, 2001. Neither will I.
I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room with a
man who called his wife to say "Good-bye." I held his
fingers steady as he dialed.
I gave him the peace to say, "Honey, I am not going to
make it, but it is OK...I am ready to go."
I was with his wife when he called as she fed
breakfast to their children. I held her up as she
tried to understand his words and as she realized he
wasn't coming home that night.
I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a woman
cried out to Me for help. "I have been knocking on the
door of your heart for 50 years!"
I said. "Of course I will show you the way home -
only believe on Me now."
I was at the base of the building with the Priest
ministering to the injured and devastated souls.
I took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven.
He heard my voice and answered.
I was on all four of those planes, in every seat, with
every prayer.
I was with the crew as they were overtaken. I was in
the very hearts of the believers there, comforting and
assuring them that their faith has saved them.
I was in Texas, Kansas, London. I was standing next to
you when you heard the terrible news.
Did you sense Me?
I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew every name-
though not all know Me.
Some met Me for the first time on the 86th floor.
Some sought Me with their last breath.
Some couldn't hear Me calling to them through the
smoke and flames; "Come to Me... this way... take my
hand." Some chose, for the final time, to ignore Me.
But, I was there.
I did not place you in the Tower that day. You may not
know why, but I do. However, if you were there in that
explosive moment in time,
would you have reached for Me?
September 11, 2001, was not the end of the journey for you.
But someday your journey will end. And I will be there
for you as well. Seek Me now while I may be found.
Then, at any moment, you know you are "ready to go."
I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.
God OUR FATHER
During the next 60 seconds, stop whatever you are
doing, and take this opportunity.
(Literally it is only 1 minute).
All you have to do is the following:
You simply say an "Our Father" for all the people you
know and love as well as for those you don't know
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name,
Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done, on Earth as it is
in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and
forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom,
and the power and the glory, forever and ever Amen.
Next, you can send this message to everyone you know.
In a while, more people will have prayed for you and you
would have obtained a lot of people praying for others.
Then, stop, think and appreciate God's power in
your life, for doing what you know is pleasing to him.
"Yes, I love my God. He is my fountain of Life and My
Savior. He keeps me going day and night. Without Him,
I am no one. But with Him, I can do everything. GOD
is my strength."
MEET ME IN THE STAIRWELL!
