Many will tell you that having money does not buy happiness, but it sure buys you a lot

Some say success and wealth are time consuming can make you less spiritual, compassionate
and less of a good person. This is the school of thought that says that money is the root
of all evil. In actual fact money is neither good nor bad; it is energy exchange. It is
the way that money is used that determines whether or not it is a positive energy that will
benefit you and others.
Yet, the lack of sufficient money creates hardship. The ability to purchase and pay for
everything that you need as well as the entertainment and recreation you desire are all
severely curtailed when your cash flow is limited. Barely having the ability to make ends
meet from paycheck to paycheck can be depressing to your spirit and your self-esteem.
In America today, especially since the recent economic downturn with jobs being lost in
record numbers, many are concerned about the reliability of a regular paycheck to provide
you with all of the things you consider necessities.
That paycheck only goes so far. Before you even see the money you earn, a large percentage
of it is taken out to pay taxes of various kinds. Very often there is nothing remaining
after paying for food, housing, utilities, car payments, gasoline, clothes, and other
necessities for any of the extra things you want to have for yourself and your family.
If you have a large amount of debt in addition to your monthly necessities, that paycheck is
aready spent before it even gets to the bank.
And that regular paycheck is becoming less and less certain each day, as layoffs continue
to increase and businesses are cutting back on their work force. So what can a person do
to assure there is a steady inflow of cash to cover the necessities and the extras?
The realization hit me hard after I looked to see what my total employment earnings averaged
over the 42 years that I was an employee. My average annual gross income (before paying income
taxes) turned out to be several thousand dollars below the national poverty level. I will grant
that for the last four of those years my annual wages were reasonably high, but never enough
to completely eradicate my debts or to experience abundance or real affluence.
Living on a subsistance or poverty level can make most people, myself included, feel deprived in many ways. In reality, that feeling can be real because you have limited access to benefits that the wealthy take for granted. Among those benefits are:
Whether we care to admit it or not, MONEY is a huge contributing factor to our sense of
abundance and fulfillment in life. Lack of money, fear around money, money anxiety, stress
and struggle are powerful forces that repeatedly keep us in a "rat race" - working hard but
never seeming to win "the money game."
Living WITH money sure beats living WITHOUT it, right? And living in ABUNDANCE is much more
desirable than living in DEPRIVATION - wouldn’t you agree? So - what if you could learn how

Early on, I was taught that you will never become wealthy working for someone else. You have
to have your own business to get ahead in this world. My example was a very energetic, but severely
hearing impaired grandmother.
During the second world war, she managed to build a business by running a boarding house for
the people working in the war effort in Southern California. In those days, being in business on
your own required hard work, dedication and usually long hours and the ability to wear "many hats".
With the coming of the Internet, much of this has changed - entrepreneurs are becoming more common,
and many are extremely successful.
The Internet is the ultimate 24-hour a day money generating machine. Whatever you are doing, while
you eat, while you sleep, while you play… money is pouring into your life…and from all over the
world.
For those who want to explore the possibilities of creating your own web presence and sharing your
creative endeavors on the Internet, there are many tools available just a click away. I invite

answer to meeting your financial needs.
The most reliable way to move from employee to entrepreneur is to begin while you still have
your "day job". This can be accomplished most easily by joining with an organization that is
already set up.
Becoming an entrepreneur is not for everyone. It requires a certain dedication, the ability to
focus without a totally structured work environment, and a certain amount of creativity. The
rewards, once success is achieved, are great.
The procedures have already been tried and tested and all you have to do is follow them. It is
much like a franchise set up, where the success formula has been worked out and for a fee (usually
very large - a MacDonald's franchise is in the millions!) you buy the franchise and follow the
formula.
The problem with this, you have to recap your initial investment before you can start actually
making money, and the process may take longer than your reserves will support you while waiting
to become profitable.
Many opportunity seekers try something called mulitlevel marketing or network marketing as it is
now called. Years ago, this particular system of going into a home based business meant buying
into the company, buying a huge amount of the company's product, then holding sales and marketing
meetings in order to sell the garage full of products you have purchased to everyone you know,
family, friends, acquaintances, even your enemies...
Some were successful, but many more were not. The difficulty was although they may have been able to sell product themselves, but they could not duplicate their success in sales and their business organization did not produce enough cash flow to make it worthwhile to continue.
Actually this is an extremely viable form of marketing. Product is manufactured, sales reps
sell directly to the consumer and the middle men (jobbers, warehousemen, wholesalers, retailers,
advertisers, etc.) are cut out of the pricing structure.
The secret to being successful in the world of network marketing is the abiltiy to duplicate
your efforts, much like cloning yourself to build a large group of "you's" doing the same work
you have done successfully. The picture that comes to mind is the "Sorcers Apprentice" from
Walt Disney's Fantasia. Some organizations have the duplication process well organized and if
you follow directions, you have a very good chance to become successful. The difficult part
is to sell the program to people. Nobody really likes to always be "selling to their friends"...in
fact in some networking circles this is called the NFL club For No Friends Left! Everyone you
have been trying to get to buy your newest product or service runs the other way when they see
you coming.
Much of this has changed with the Internet. Once you join an organization, the process of
duplication is almost automated. Holding meetings in your home where you invite everyone you
know and try to convince them that they need to join you in this "Once in a Lifetime" opportunity
is now handled by technology.
Teleconferencing, on-line information sharing, e-mail can all be done over the Internet. The
process is reduced to obtaining leads and then working with them to bring them into your group,
having them follow the prescribed plan, and duplicating this over and over. The potential for
success has increased exponentially since the early days and methods that gave MLM such a bad name.
Are you the Exasperated, Exhausted, Employee, or an Excited, Enthusiastic,
Entrepreneur? Or maybe you are some combination of all of these?
Why do you get up in the morning? What makes you get dressed and commute
to your workplace? Most people would say it is the paycheck, or commission
